Horse Powertrain Solutions in Madrid seeks a senior Project Manager for powertrain development programs, responsible for delivering quality, cost and timing objectives across complex engine and transmission projects. What You Will Be Doing

• Lead the delivery of new powertrain development projects, ensuring Quality, Cost and Timing (QCT/QCD) objectives.
• Support business development activities and act as the engineering interface with new customers.
• Manage project quotations, feasibility assessments and technical/economic scoping.
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and drive project convergence across all functions.
• Lead and develop Project Leaders within the team, providing direction and governance.
• Monitor project risks, opportunities, budgets, investments and supplier performance.
• Ensure achievement of project milestones, deliverables, regulatory compliance and product safety requirements.
• Drive innovation initiatives, technology roadmaps and collaboration with suppliers, universities, start‑ups and research partners.

What We’re Looking For

• A proven track record in powertrain development and automotive project management, including leadership of complex new product development programs.
• Outstanding stakeholder management, negotiation and team leading skills, with the ability to communicate complex topics clearly.
• Strong competencies in risk and opportunity management and project governance, with a collaborative approach.
• Knowledge of the automotive sector, Horse Powertrain business, and our ambition to transform the industry.
• Excellent written and spoken English, both spoken and written; Chinese, Spanish and/or French would be valued.
• Willingness to travel regularly to China.
