Job summary

Macadam is seeking a senior, data-driven Business Analyst to join our Analytics & Data team in Barcelona. You’ll blend product and data analysis to turn insights into decisions across product, marketing and business strategy.

Fluency in SQL and a product mindset are essential; experience with mobile apps or gaming is a plus. You’ll own end-to-end analyses, build dashboards, design experiments with the team, and help shape data-informed decisions that impact millions of users.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Business Analyst or a similar role in consumer apps.
• Excellent SQL and data-analysis skills for large datasets.
• Solid experimentation skills: design, size, interpret A/B tests.
• Strong product-analytics focus: funnels, cohorts, retention, KPIs.
• Ability to own end-to-end projects and present clear recommendations.
• Fluent in English and able to turn analyses into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user behavior, product usage, and business performance to provide actionable insights and own complex analyses behind engagement features.
• Build dashboards and reports for cross-functional teams using SQL, spreadsheets, and BI tools.
• Collaborate with product, marketing and engineering to design and measure experiments and scale A/B testing.
• Deep-dive into trends, funnels, and cohorts to identify growth opportunities.
• Build models like LTV, churn, user personas, and segmentation to inform monetization.
• Lead unique projects, from concept to delivery, and communicate impact clearly.
• Define and track key metrics and review event tracking with product owners.
• Contribute to data hygiene, standardization, and documentation across teams.
• Improve data access via views, tables, and documentation; support AI tooling adoption.
