Job summary

Ersilia is seeking a Lead Data Analyst to define healthy analytics for our mobile games and to challenge investment decisions with data. You will set the standard for analytical rigor and mentor the team.

Based in Barcelona with a hybrid working model, the role requires ownership of end-to-end A/B testing, translating business questions into data models, and surfacing proactive insights for product and Live Ops. Advanced SQL and proficiency in R or Python are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in mobile gaming analytics across the full release cycle, including retention and monetization effects.
• Strong statistical foundations; ability to design and evaluate end-to-end A/B tests.
• Track record of building KPI frameworks from first principles for a given game context.
• Evidence-first data stance: form strong positions from data and defend them under pressure.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one of R or Python for exploration and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Elevate the bar for the team, set standards, challenge analytical approaches, and mentor analysts on quality and rigor.
• Own the A/B test framework end to end: design, evaluation methodology, and interpretation of results.
• Translate business questions into data model requirements and coordinate with the Data Core team.
• Proactively surface insights for the product team and identify what questions should be asked.
• Set and own standards for how analytical findings reach designers, PMs, and Live Ops.
