Job summary

AVEVA is seeking a Principal Presales Consultant for Unified Engineering in Madrid (Hybrid). You will lead technical sales engagements across Iberia and EMEA, partnering with Account Managers and product teams to qualify opportunities, plan discovery sessions, and deliver value-focused demonstrations.

The role requires 5+ years of presales experience in engineering software, fluency in English and Spanish, and strong collaboration with Marketing, R&D and Delivery to drive growth and customer

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience with AVEVA Engineering portfolio or equivalent in presales, technical services, or engineering/design roles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Spanish.
• Strong knowledge of AVEVA Engineering technologies and CONNECT platform.

Responsibilities

• Enable Unified Engineering growth through direct and partner-led sales and account plans.
• Lead discovery sessions and technical workshops to define needs and shape solutions.
• Deliver presales engagements: presentations, demonstrations, and Proof of Value.
• Collaborate with Product Management and R&D to meet technical requirements.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for architecture and deployment approaches.
• Refine messaging with Marketing and Sales to support pipeline strategy.
• Represent AVEVA at meetings and events and travel as required.
