Job summary

AVEVA is seeking a Principal Presales Consultant for Unified Engineering in Madrid, hybrid work. You will lead technical sales engagements across Iberia and EMEA, partnering with account managers and marketing to showcase how AVEVA Unified Engineering and CONNECT deliver measurable value throughout the EPC and Owner Operator lifecycle.

Travel up to 40% is required. You will own discovery, workshops, demonstrations, PV, and technical proposals, collaborating with R&D, product management, and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with AVEVA Engineering portfolio (or equivalent) in presales, services or engineering roles.
• Proven presales experience delivering discovery sessions, planning, demonstrations and proofs of value.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Excellent verbal and written English and Spanish communications for diverse audiences.
• Strong knowledge of AVEVA Engineering technologies and CONNECT platform.
• Experience in EPC or Owner Operator environments and EPC workflows.
• Proficiency with Salesforce and following the sales process.

Responsibilities

• Enable growth through direct and partner-led sales; support logo and expansion strategies.
• Partner with Sales to qualify opportunities and lead discovery sessions and workshops.
• Own presales engagement: presentations, demos, RFX responses, and Proof of Value.
• Collaborate with product management and R&D to meet technical requirements and value outcomes.
• Coordinate with Delivery, Tech Support and other teams to design architectures and handover to delivery.
• Refine messaging with Marketing and Sales to support pipeline strategy.
• Engage with Community of Practice; improve demo assets and enablement.
• Represent AVEVA at meetings and events; build customer references and travel as needed.
