Senior Pre-Sales Engineer — Fraud Tech Solutions

Job summary

SHIELD is a device-first fraud intelligence platform with extensive global reach and a focus on trusted client partnerships. As a Pre-sales Engineer, you will be the expert on SHIELD solutions, supporting clients from pre- to post-sales, delivering tailored demos, ensuring successful implementation and ongoing value.

You will collaborate with internal teams, provide technical guidance, and champion product adoption while maintaining strong relationships with clients across multiple regions.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Overall 4+ years of experience with at least 3 years in client-facing, presales engineering, sales engineering or support engineering in B2B SaaS/payments.
• Hands-on SDK implementation experience is a plus.
• Hands-on knowledge of HTTP, JavaScript, RESTful APIs, JSON, OAuth and SQL.
• Strong experience driving integration and acting as single point of contact to drive end-to-end POC.
• Strong customer focus with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and business audiences.

Responsibilities

• You will drive & own the POC as a technical SPOC including implementation and onboarding as Pre-sales engineer.
• You will provide demos of SHIELD capabilities with Sales and tailor demos to clients’ use cases.
• You will liaise on technical support for existing customers and product adoption across pre-sales, post-sales and renewals.
• Act as Face of the company to clients to maintain relationships with trust and value.
• Collaborate with SHIELD teams to troubleshoot client technical challenges promptly and professionally.
• Stand in the client’s shoes to drive high client satisfaction while maintaining integrity.
• Conduct regular technical account reviews, trainings and on-site visits for insights and analytics.
• Help clients optimise SHIELD solutions for long-term success.
• Be the trusted technical advisor, coordinating feature requests with product/engineering.
• Pro-actively advocate SHIELD product adoption by aligning with client needs and technology.
