Payward invites a skilled Solutions Engineer to join our pre-sales team in Spain. You’ll run technical discovery with prospective customers, map architectures and compliance needs to our product suite, and design tailored solutions to win deals.

You’ll own end-to-end PoCs, create solution design docs, and run knowledge transfer sessions to hand off to the Implementation team. A proven background in REST/WebSocket APIs, integrations for fintechs, and clear communication is essential.

Formación

• 4+ years in a technical pre-sales role at a B2B API or infrastructure company.
• Proven track record executing discovery, solution design, PoC delivery and deal-winning.
• Fluency with REST/WebSocket APIs, auth patterns (OAuth, JWT), webhook architecture.
• Experience designing complex integrations for fintechs/banks, including customizations.
• Strong knowledge transfer and structured communication skills.
• Experience writing RFPs and documenting solution approaches.

Responsabilidades

• Run technical discovery with prospective customers alongside sales and our Partner Solutions Lead.
• Map architecture, constraints and compliance needs to our product suite.
• Design tailored solutions spanning current offerings and bespoke integrations.
• Scope and build PoCs demonstrating technical feasibility to close deals.
• Own Handoff to Implementation — deliver PoCs, docs, and knowledge transfer.
• Execute the pre-sales playbook and contribute improvements based on experience.
