Amazon Data Services Spain, S.L. is seeking a Senior Pre-Construction Manager to lead global standards development and cross-functional coordination for data center projects.

You will drive design development, permitting, and cost guidance, while building trusted relationships with Real Estate, Design Engineering, Construction, and external partners. This role requires deep knowledge of pre-construction for critical facilities, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Fluent in French and English (speaking, writing and reading) with respect to technical concepts.
• 7+ years negotiating with general contractors and evaluating bids/proposals.
• 7+ years in mission critical facilities (design, pre-construction, scheduling, construction and commissioning) or equivalent.
• 5+ years in construction site management.
• Knowledge of safety, quality standards and local safety regulations.
• Excellent communication with frontline and executive managers.

Responsabilidades

• Review and input into global standards and data center template designs.
• Independently support, overview and manage complex cross-functional data center projects from site selection, permitting and contract execution; keep stakeholders informed.
• Maintain scope progress by driving decisions, clearing blockers, and escalating as needed.
• Collaborate with real estate, design engineering, construction, finance, architects, engineers, permitting agencies, developers and landlords to secure resources and set milestones.
• Negotiate with general contractors, evaluate bids/proposals, and participate in pricing reviews.
• Evaluate due diligences, schedule tracking and identify factors that may impede hand-over to AWS stakeholders.
• Insist on the highest standards and drive accountability, including coaching or disciplinary actions as needed.
