Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Data Center Construction Manager to lead the construction lifecycle for new and existing data centers in Spain. Based on a site in Zaragoza, Huesca, or Teruel, you will own scope, schedule, and budget while coordinating with general contractors and internal teams.

You will review designs, manage contracts, handle financials, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in data center or other critical environments.
• Experience in construction or project management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction activities for new builds or capital projects, controlling scope, schedule, and budget.
• Interface with general contractors during bidding, award, execution, and closeout.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure high-quality project turnovers.
• Lead bid evaluations and negotiations with general contractors.
• Prepare project scopes, RFIs, and procurement documents.
• Monitor capital requests, change orders, and invoicing to track project economics.
• Support construction quality control and commissioning planning.
