Getnet Platforms is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer in Madrid to design, deploy and operate scalable, secure AWS infrastructure and managed services. You will manage Kubernetes environments (EKS) and drive automation via Infrastructure as Code, while ensuring high availability and reliability of platform services for our engineering teams.

The role requires fluent Spanish, strong DevOps experience, and a focus on observability, SLIs/SLOs, and a collaborative, high-performing culture.

Formación

• Fluent Spanish is required.
• Strong experience with AWS in production environments and scalable cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on Kubernetes management experience, including Amazon EKS.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
• CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices experience.
• Experience with platform services such as Confluent Kafka, RabbitMQ, IBM MQ, Redis, Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Ability to define and improve platform reliability with observability, SLIs and SLOs.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement and operate scalable, secure AWS-based infrastructure for the engineering org.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters and ensure high availability and performance.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and lifecycle management via IaC.
• Operate and optimize shared platform services (RDS, PostgreSQL/MySQL, MongoDB, Kafka, Redis, Elasticsearch).
• Improve observability, monitoring, incident response and platform resilience.
