Job summary

Talan Spain is hiring a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join the GTB Tech Evolution Platform, building secure, scalable cloud-native infra on AWS. You will collaborate with Platform, Security and Product teams to onboard apps, strengthen automation and security, and drive adoption of modern DevOps and SRE practices.

You will focus on AWS/EKS, Kubernetes, CI/CD, IaC (Terraform) and cloud automation, shaping a reliable, well-governed cloud platform aligned with security best practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevSecOps/DevOps engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Proficient in GitHub-based CI/CD workflows and Terraform.
• Docker experience and Linux proficiency.
• Cloud automation and IaC expertise; IAM/AWS security knowledge.
• Experience with CloudWatch and observability tools; security-minded mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate secure, scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS/EKS.
• Onboard and migrate applications to standardized cloud patterns and platform services.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Advance authentication security with AWS IAM/IRSA and secure identity management.
• Manage and optimize Kubernetes-based environments for reliability and scale.
• Champion observability and SRE practices; monitor, log, and improve performance.
• Use CloudWatch and Dynatrace (if available) for monitoring.
• Promote automation across infrastructure and app lifecycle management.
• Maintain documentation-first platform processes and standards.
• Contribute to service catalog ownership and governance.
• Collaborate with Platform Engineering, Security and Product teams to deliver secure solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve platform efficiency, resilience, security and developer experience.
