Akamai is seeking a skilled Platform Engineer to join the Guardicore Data and AI Platform Team. You will design, operate, and scale highly available, secure Kubernetes platforms and advance cloud-native DevOps capabilities.

You will collaborate with Site Reliability Engineers, Data Scientists, and Security Engineers to push forward GitOps-driven deployment, IaC, and observability. Strong scripting and leadership are prized.

Formación

• Demonstrate expertise in DevOps, platform engineering, SRE, or cloud infrastructure with proven ability to optimize and manage systems effectively.
• Demonstrate extensive production expertise with Kubernetes
• Have experience with GitOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Have experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
• Have scripting or programming experience using Python, Go, Bash, or similar languages
• Demonstrate technical leadership, ownership, and the ability to drive cross-team initiatives

Responsabilidades

• Platform Design: Designing, operating, and scaling highly available, secure Kubernetes platforms
• GitOps: Building and improving GitOps-based deployment processes using Argo CD, Helm, and related technologies
• Infrastructure as Code: Developing reusable cloud infrastructure and automation frameworks utilizing Terraform
• Developer Experience: Enhancing CI/CD pipelines, developer workflows, and self-service platform capabilities
• System Optimization: Improving overall platform reliability, observability, security, performance, and cost efficiency
• Production Leadership: Leading complex production investigations and driving long-term architectural improvements
