Akamai Technologies is seeking a skilled Platform Engineer to design and operate secure, scalable Kubernetes platforms in a cloud-native Data and AI Platform team. You will contribute to reliable, cost-conscious storage and compute solutions while enabling analytics and AI-driven features across Akamai Guardicore services.

You will work on GitOps deployments, infrastructure as code, and platform observability, collaborating with DevOps, SRE, software, data, AI, and security teams to drive

Formación

• Experience designing and operating secure, scalable Kubernetes platforms.
• Strong background in GitOps-based deployments (Argo CD, Helm).
• Proficient with infrastructure as code (Terraform).
• Experience improving CI/CD, developer experience, and self-service platforms.
• Focus on reliability, observability, security, performance, and cost efficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Designing and operating secure, scalable, and highly available Kubernetes platforms
• Building GitOps-based deployment processes using Argo CD, Helm, and related technologies
• Developing reusable cloud infrastructure and automation using Terraform
• Improving CI/CD, developer experience, and self-service platform capabilities
• Enhancing platform reliability, observability, security, performance, and cost efficiency
• Leading complex production investigations and driving long-term improvements
• Collaborating with DevOps, SRE, software, data, AI, and security engineering teams
