Akamai Technologies is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to take technical ownership of the reliability, availability, performance, and operational readiness of the Guardicore Data and AI Platform.

You will operate secure, highly available Kubernetes infrastructure, enhance platform observability and security, lead complex production investigations, and guide cross-team initiatives using AI-driven automation.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or Platform Engineering.
• Design and implement monitoring and observability using Prometheus & Grafana.
• Extensive production experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and cloud providers (GCP, Azure, AWS).
• Exceptional troubleshooting across network, system, applications, and database layers.
• Experience with GitOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, and Bash.
• Leverage AI tools to automate daily operations.
• Demonstrate technical leadership and cross-team ownership.

Responsabilidades

• Operating secure, highly available Kubernetes infrastructure for microservices, data pipelines, observability, and tooling.
• Enhancing platform reliability, observability, security, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Guiding engineers to ensure services perform as expected and improving confidence.
• Leading complex production investigations and driving long-term improvements.
• Using AI-driven automation to auto-remediate incidents and streamline ops.
• Collaborating across DevOps, Software, Data, AI and Security teams to troubleshoot issues.
• Participating in on-call rotations and guiding restoration efforts.
