Akamai Technologies GmbH is seeking an experienced DevOps/Platform Engineer to design, operate, and optimize a cloud-native Data and AI Platform on Kubernetes.

You will implement GitOps workflows, build reusable infrastructure with Terraform, and enhance CI/CD, observability, and security across the platform. Collaboration with DevOps, SRE, software, data, AI, and security teams is essential.

Formación

• Experience in DevOps, platform engineering, SRE, or cloud infrastructure.
• Proven ability to optimize and manage systems in production.

• Building GitOps-based deployment processes using Argo CD, Helm, and related technologies.
• Developing reusable cloud infrastructure and automation using Terraform.

• Leading complex production investigations and driving long-term improvements.

You will be responsible for:

• Designing and operating secure, scalable, and highly available Kubernetes platforms
• Building GitOps-based deployment processes using Argo CD, Helm, and related technologies

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Demonstrate expertise in DevOps, platform engineering, SRE, or cloud infrastructure with proven ability to optimize and manage systems effectively.
• Demonstrate extensive production expertise with Kubernetes, containers, and Helm.
• Have experience with GitOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code
• Have experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
• Have scripting or programming experience using Python, Go, Bash, or similar languages
• Demonstrate technical leadership, ownership, and the ability to drive cross-team initiatives
