Akamai Technologies is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to own the reliability and scalability of the Guardicore Data and AI Platform. You will operate secure Kubernetes infrastructure, drive observability, and lead cross-functional initiatives across DevOps, Software, Data, AI, and Security teams.

You will apply AI-driven automation to incident response and contribute to platform automation and cost efficiency.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or Platform Engineering
• Ability to design and implement a comprehensive monitoring and observability strategy using Prometheus and Grafana
• Production experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and public clouds (GCP, Azure, AWS) on Linux-based infrastructure
• Strong troubleshooting skills across network, system, applications, and database layers
• Experience with GitOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code
• Scripting/programming proficiency in Python, Go, and Bash
• Proven ability to lead cross-team initiatives and build foundational tooling

Responsabilidades

• Operate secure, highly available Kubernetes infrastructure for core services, data pipelines, observability, and internal tooling
• Enhance platform reliability, observability, security, performance, and cost efficiency
• Guide engineers to ensure services perform as expected and maintain confidence
• Lead complex production investigations and drive long-term improvements
• Leverage AI tools to auto-remediate incidents and automate operations
• Collaborate with DevOps, Software, Data, AI, and Security teams to troubleshoot issues
• Participate in on-call rotations and guide service restoration
