Akamai is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to own the reliability and availability of the Guardicore Data and AI Platform. You will manage secure, scalable Kubernetes infrastructure and partner with DevOps, Software, Data, AI and Security teams to resolve complex issues.

In this role you will design observability strategies, lead production investigations, and drive improvements. You will also explore AI-driven automation to streamline operations and reduce incident impact.

Formación

• 5+ years in SRE/DevOps or Platform Engineering and proven ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
• Strong design of monitoring/observability strategies using Prometheus & Grafana.
• Extensive production experience with Kubernetes and cloud platforms.

Responsabilidades

• Operate secure, highly available Kubernetes infrastructure for core microservices, data pipelines, observability, and internal tooling.
• Enhance platform reliability, observability, security, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Provide guidance to engineers to increase confidence that services perform as expected.
• Lead complex production investigations and drive long-term improvements.
• Leverage AI-driven automation to auto-remediate incidents and streamline operations.
• Partner across DevOps, Software, Data, AI and Security to investigate and troubleshoot complex problems.
• Participate in on-call rotations, guiding restoration and repair of service-impacting issues.
