Jobgether is representing a partner company in Spain seeking a Senior PHP Engineer. You will develop PHP integrations for hosting control panels and CMSs, including WordPress, with a focus on security and reliability.

This fully remote, Europe-wide team offers ownership across the software lifecycle and collaboration with engineers across disciplines. You will work on containerized infrastructure, build interfaces for hosting panels, and integrate PHP components with broader security products,

Formación

• At least 4 years of professional PHP software development experience.
• Solid understanding of HTTP and web applications.
• Practical knowledge of web security principles and vulnerabilities.
• Experience developing integrations or plugins for web platforms or hosting panels.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, XML, and regular expressions.
• Experience with Git and Docker; modern software workflows.
• Ability to consider scalability, availability, maintainability, and performance.
• Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and remote-work skills.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies.
• Hosting industry experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of C++ or Go is a plus for broader security systems.
• Knowledge of RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Kubernetes, and GitLab CI/CD is beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, integrate, and maintain PHP modules, extensions, and plugins for hosting panels (cPanel, Plesk, DirectAdmin).
• Build and maintain integrations for CMSs such as WordPress with security functionality.
• Design user interfaces for hosting panels and customer portals using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Support customers and internal teams with custom PHP portals.
• Develop event handlers and lightweight background apps in a containerized infra.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate PHP components with security products.
• Contribute to full software lifecycle: design, implement, test, debug, deploy.
• Apply web security best practices to protect apps and services from threats.
• Address scalability, availability, performance, and reliability challenges.
• Use Git, Docker, SQL, XML, regex, and CI/CD tools to deliver software.
• Participate in technical discussions and drive effective solutions.
• Continuously learn and share knowledge across the organization.
