Job summary

Present Connection is seeking a proactive Mid/Senior PHP Developer to join a cross-location team (Kaunas/Spain) building in-house trading systems used by trading, risk and mid-office teams. You will work closely with the client team in the Netherlands to raise code quality and delivery velocity.

The role requires strong Laravel/PHP, SQL, Git and Docker experience, plus CI/CD tooling and testing practices. Hybrid work model and ongoing training are provided to support growth.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Laravel 10/11 and PHP 8.3+.
• Excellent SQL skills across MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Fluency in Git version control and GitHub PR workflow.
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD tooling (PHPStan, PHPCS, PHPUnit, ESLint).
• Experience with unit and integration testing including Test-Driven Development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain PHP applications used by trading, risk and back-office teams.
• Collaborate across Kaunas, Spain and the Netherlands with client teams.
• Ensure migrations, deployments and rollbacks are reliable and auditable.
• Promote testing, code quality and best practices in the team.
