Job summary

Jobgether SRL is seeking a Senior PHP/Laravel Developer with infrastructure and DevOps experience, based in Spain. You will split time between software development and infrastructure work, driving reliability, performance, and security across data-driven applications.

The role requires hands-on leadership, architecture design, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Remote work is supported, with a focus on production systems, monitoring, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years in software development or ICT
• Strong PHP and Laravel production experience
• Experience with architecture, APIs, and PostgreSQL
• Solid secure coding, testing, code reviews, and quality standards
• CI/CD, Git-based workflows, and deployment automation
• Infrastructure and DevOps hands-on experience
• HA systems, incident response, and recovery strategies
• Preferred infra techs: Proxmox, Ceph/CephFS, ZFS, Icinga, Grafana, Loki
• Ability to document clearly and share knowledge
• English proficiency at professional level

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain business-critical PHP/Laravel applications
• Architect APIs and data flows with internal systems
• Maintain automated tests, static analysis, and code-quality checks
• Improve CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Git, and Gitea
• Provide technical leadership and code reviews
• Lead incident response and root-cause analysis
• Administer Linux, virtualization, containers, storage, backups, security
• Manage Proxmox, Ceph/CephFS, ZFS, Icinga, Grafana, Loki
• Ensure platform operations and service availability
• Maintain documentation and runbooks
