Job summary

Allerton Bishop Search is recruiting a Senior Project Manager for a remote Europe-based role within a pharmaceutical CDMO/CMO network. You will lead customer-facing projects from pre-sales through to technology transfer and manufacturing readiness, coordinating with cross-functional teams across multiple countries.

The position emphasizes strong stakeholder engagement, contract-to-delivery handovers, and end-to-end program management across international pharmaceutical manufacturing programmes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in Project Management within pharmaceutical CDMO/CMO environments.
• Proven track record in a customer-facing project management role with exposure to pre- and post-sales activities.
• Strong understanding of GMP manufacturing and cross-functional pharmaceutical operations.
• Ability to manage multiple international customer programmes remotely.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary customer-facing project lead across the commercial project lifecycle.
• Support pre-sales activities with requirements scoping, timelines and proposals.
• Lead post-sales project execution from agreement through to delivery and ongoing management.
• Manage complex CDMO/CMO projects including technology transfers and manufacturing scale-up.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain and Technical Operations.
• Provide proactive customer communication, project updates and stakeholder management.
• Develop and maintain project plans with milestones, deliverables, risks and dependencies.
• Track contractual milestones, deliverables and invoicing with Finance and Commercial teams.
