SSA Recruitment Mainland Europe is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager for an international clinical research and laboratory services organization. The role focuses on driving growth, acquiring new clients and building long-term commercial relationships across pharma, biotech and CROs.

You will manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through proposals, negotiate contracts and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver tailored laboratory services.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in business development, sales or commercial roles.
• Experience acquiring new clients in pharma/biotech/CROs.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Fluency in English; additional languages preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, prospect and acquire new clients within clinical research, pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors.
• Develop new business opportunities and build long-term relationships with pharma, biotech, CROs and stakeholders.
• Manage full sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure.
• Review clinical trial protocols to tailor service proposals.
• Coordinate proposals with subject matter experts and internal teams.
• Lead client meetings, presentations and industry events.
• Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline and monitor KPIs.
