ROVI Pharmaceutical Company in Madrid is seeking an experienced Finance & Accounting professional to join our team as a Senior Accountant. You will support IFRS-compliant financial booking, reconciliations, period-end close, intercompany processes, and journal entries to ensure the general ledger accurately reflects the business.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance & Accounting and more than 5 years of hands-on experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance & Accounting required.
More than 5 years of experience in finance & accounting roles.
Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial controls.
Experience with ERP systems and month-end close processes.

Responsibilities

Support IFRS-compliant financial booking and regulatory compliance.
Manage reconciliations and adjustments to keep ledgers accurate.
Assist period-end close including AR/AP subledgers and general ledger consolidation.
Support Intercompany reconciliation and fix variances.
Perform Year End Closing activities and asset accounting tasks.
Leverage ERP expertise to streamline accounting processes.
Maintain chart of accounts and hierarchies reflecting business structure.
Collaborate with local teams to ensure proper accounting and reporting.
Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis.
Contribute to continuous improvement of policies and templates.
Ensure internal controls are followed for all processes.
