Confidential Company in Barcelona is seeking a senior business development professional to lead deal ideation, sourcing, and execution across generics, biosimilars, and complex drug-device combinations.

You will build market models, run valuations, and prepare decision-ready materials for executives while expanding an external network with originators, CDMOs, and licensing partners in the US and Asia. The role demands 5–8 years in pharma and proven transaction ownership.

Formación

• Minimum 5–8 years in the pharmaceutical industry, concentrated on generics and biosimilars.
• Prior business development experience is non-negotiable.
• Familiarity with US landscape (ANDA, 505(b)(2), 351(k) pathways, Paragraph IV litigation) and with Asian development and manufacturing ecosystems.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and prioritise licensing and co-development prospects across generics, biosimilars, and complex formulations.
• Build market models for sizing, pricing, COGS, and launch timing.
• Run valuations (NPV/IRR) and design milestones, royalties, and transfer pricing.
• Prepare decision-ready materials for senior management.
• Develop and maintain external networks with originators, CDMOs, API suppliers, and licensing advisors.
• Coordinate due diligence and work with Legal/IP to surface risks early.
