Job summary

AIDA Recruitment seeks a Senior Product Manager – Payments & Acquiring to own the Card-Present and e-commerce acquiring proposition for a B2B contract. The role drives growth, innovation and commercial performance across card-present and online channels.

The position is remote, 12 months, full-time, with an ASAP start. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in product management in payments/fintech, strong vendor and partner collaboration, and a data-driven, strategic mindset.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Product Management with payments/fintech focus.
• Proven track record launching or scaling Card-Present acquiring / POS products and e-commerce acquiring.
• Strong knowledge of CP and CNP acquiring, payment processing, and settlement.
• Experience with payment processors, POS vendors, gateways, acquirers, or card schemes.
• Understanding of acquiring economics: merchant pricing, interchange, scheme fees, processor costs, profitability.
• Experience with Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Apple Pay, Google Pay.
• Knowledge of regulations in payment and acquiring products.
• Strong analytical, commercial, and strategic mindset; data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and leadership; ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
• Open Banking / A2A payments experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own product strategy for Card-Present and e-commerce acquiring.
• Lead development and scaling of POS and e-commerce acquiring propositions.
• Monitor market trends and customer needs; respond to competitors.
• Own planning, development, testing, launch, and optimization.
• Drive pricing, costs, and profitability for acquiring.
• Lead cross-functional teams; make product decisions and liaise with partners.
• Establish scalable business processes and handover to teams.
