Job summary

Ruby Labs Ltd is seeking a senior, hands-on media buying leader to own the acquisition process on paid social channels such as TikTok, Meta, AppLovin, and Snapchat. You will set strategy, structure accounts, bid, allocate budgets, test creatives, measure results and scale while maintaining account health.

This role demands independent work on large budgets in a policy-sensitive niche. You’ll measure performance with CPA, ROAS and payback, leveraging AI tools like Claude to accelerate testing, QA

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on paid social / user acquisition experience.
• Large-scale acquisitions in the US market.
• Experience working in policy-sensitive niches and keeping accounts healthy at scale.
• Strong hands-on Meta Ads experience scaling accounts profitably.
• Hands-on AppLovin (AppLovin Ads / AXON) experience, scaling it as an acquisition channel.
• Direct ownership of large budgets, ideally $1M+/month hands-on.
• Strong understanding of unit economics: LTV, ROAS, payback windows, cohorts.
• Deep policy and account health experience: disapprovals, appeals, restrictions, ad account bans and how to recover and prevent them.
• Strong creative testing discipline and measurement rigor.
• Ownership mentality: you run channels end-to-end with minimal supervision and take responsibility for outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end acquisition process across paid social networks (TikTok, Meta, AppLovin, Snapchat, and more).
• Scale spend profitably in the US while meeting payback, ROAS and CPA targets.
• Build and optimize account structures, conversion events, and bid strategies.
• Decide budget allocation across channels and identify new scaling levers.
• Lead structured, high-velocity creative testing with clear hypotheses and kill/scale rules.
• Manage signal quality: conversion events, event value, optimization, attribution.
• Navigate policy-senstive niches and handle disapprovals and restrictions with prevention-first processes.
• Protect account health with robust structures, backups and recovery plans.
• Collaborate with reps on beta features, new campaign types and escalations.
• Diagnose drops/spikes quickly and act on insights.
• Document tests and learnings and leverage Claude/automation to speed up builds, QA, reporting.
