Nexthink seeks a Senior Software Engineer to own the observability platform, delivering end-to-end ownership and guiding the technical direction in a highly autonomous role.

You will design and evolve an advanced observability platform, integrating DataDog, AWS, GitHub Actions, and OpenTelemetry, while leveraging AI to surface root-cause analysis and opportunities for efficiency. This role supports a hybrid work model in Madrid, with a strong focus on reliability and scale.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in SaaS projects.
• Experience with observability systems and concepts; DataDog is a plus.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps.
• Experience with IaC tools for cloud/observability resources.
• Experience with Kubernetes and AWS fundamentals.
• Knowledge of security requirements in SaaS environments.
• Understanding of SRE challenges.
• Ability to leverage AI tools in day-to-day work.
• Ability to lead cross-team communications.
• Self-motivated with good organizational skills.
• Professional-level English spoken and written.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and own an advanced observability platform.
• Integrate systems through APIs using DataDog, AWS, GitHub Actions, and OpenTelemetry.
• Leverage AI to automate root-cause analysis and surface improvements.
• Own the administration and optimization of the observability platform for performance, reliability, and cost.
• Proactively monitor, troubleshoot, and iterate to ensure production reliability.
