Nexthink in Madrid is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer for Data Infrastructure to own the data backbone across AWS regions, including Kafka, ClickHouse, Aurora, and MongoDB. You will design, build, and automate provisioning and scaling with a focus on resilience and self‑service capabilities.

• Solid cloud infrastructure background and strong software‑engineering habits.
• 5+ years as Software/DevOps/Platform or SRE.
• AWS across multiple regions with IaC and pipelines.
• Kubernetes and EKS on Linux with Docker containers.
• Go and/or Python proficiency.
• Excellent English communication and multi‑tasking skills.
• Experience with distributed/streaming systems (Kafka) and databases (Aurora/ClickHouse/MongoDB).
• Experience building self‑service platforms (Crossplane).
• Familiarity with search/vector stores (OpenSearch) and caching (Redis/ElastiCache).
• Some disaster recovery and cross‑region replication exposure.

Responsabilidades

• Design and improve data infrastructure with Architecture, Product Engineering, and Security teams.
• Build tooling and automation to provision and scale the platform with resilience.
• Integrate new data stores (search, vector, in‑memory) to the standard platform.
• Collaborate with product teams to understand needs and shape the platform.
• Plan for disaster days: DR and cross‑region replication with clear RPO/RTO.
• Maintain availability, performance, and observability (Datadog) and handle incidents end‑to‑end.
