Jobgether is seeking a Senior Node.js Software Engineer for Holepunch projects, based in Spain with remote-first collaboration. You will develop production-scale Node.js applications and contribute to a large npm ecosystem, focusing on performance, reliability, and maintainability.

You will work within a globally distributed engineering team, owning code quality, testing, and open-source contributions while advancing peer-to-peer and distributed technologies.

Formación

• Proven professional experience developing Node.js applications at production scale.
• Experience publishing or managing reusable npm modules.
• Strong testing, debugging, and QA practices.
• Interest or experience with peer-to-peer technologies and distributed systems.
• Ability to work independently within a globally distributed team.
• Experience with C/C++ native addons is preferred.
• Familiarity with networking concepts and performance tuning.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, maintain, and enhance production-scale Node.js applications.
• Build and evolve peer-to-peer technology and distributed-system components.
• Design modular, maintainable, and reusable code across projects.
• Publish and maintain reusable npm modules with quality and compatibility.
