Amaris Consulting is looking for a Network Security Engineer (NOC) to join an international team. You will provide second-level technical support for Network and Security Services, work on WAN/LAN/WLAN, VPN and Remote Access, and lead cross-functional task forces to resolve complex incidents.

• 3–4 years of hands-on experience in troubleshooting, packet capture, and configuration of network and security devices
• Solid experience with WAN, LAN, WLAN
• VPN and Remote Access solutions
• Firewalls configuration and troubleshooting, Palo Alto preferred
• Experience with network monitoring and management tools
• Understanding of network security concepts (DMZs, VLANs, partner connections)
• Ability to lead cross-functional technical task forces and coordinate with stakeholders
• Strong communication skills and proactive problem solving

Responsabilidades

• Provide second-level technical support for Network and Security Services (WAN, LAN, WLAN, VLAN)
• Handle DMZs and partner connections
• Manage Firewalls, Internet Proxies, Remote Access and VPN
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and packet capture analysis to resolve incidents
• Prepare and document incident reports with escalation and follow-up
• Lead infrastructure cross-functional task forces for troubleshooting and service improvement
• Conduct proactive monitoring to identify trends and recurring issues
• Detect and resolve events before users are affected
• Contribute to problem analysis and continuous improvement of network/security services
• Ensure operational tickets and projects comply with corporate security standards and internal processes
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure service reliability and performance

• At least 3/4 years of experience in IT within a large enterprise environment
• 3–4 years of hands‑on experience in troubleshooting, packet capture, and configuration of network and security devices
• Solid experience with: WAN, LAN, WLAN
• VPN and Remote Access solutions
• Firewalls (configuration and troubleshooting), Palo Alto preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for complex network and security incidents (L2 support)
• Experience working with network monitoring and management tools
• Good understanding of network security concepts (DMZs, VLANs, partner connections, etc.)
• Familiarity with corporate security standards, Computer Systems Validation & Compliance rules, and internal IT processes
• Ability to lead cross‑functional technical task forces and coordinate with multiple stakeholders
• Strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and a problem‑solving attitude
• Professional proficiency in English (spoken and written); any additional language is a plus
• Once per week at the office near Barcelona.
