Amaris Consulting is seeking a Network Security Engineer (NOC) to join an international team in Madrid. You will provide second‑level support for network and security services, lead incident resolution, and coordinate with multiple stakeholders across projects.

Formación

• At least 3/4 years of IT experience in a large enterprise environment.
• 3–4 years hands-on experience in troubleshooting, packet capture, and configuration of network and security devices.
• Solid experience with WAN, LAN, WLAN; VPN and Remote Access solutions; Firewalls.
• Experience with network monitoring tools and strong understanding of network security concepts.

Responsabilidades

• Provide second-level technical support for Network and Security Services (WAN, LAN, WLAN, VLAN).
• Manage DMZs and partner connections; Firewalls, Proxies, Remote Access and VPN.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and packet capture analysis to resolve complex incidents.
• Prepare incident reports and ensure proper escalation and follow-up until resolution.
• Lead cross-functional task forces for troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and service improvement.

WHAT WOULD YOU NEED?

• At least 3/4 years of experience in IT within a large enterprise environment
• 3–4 years of hands‑on experience in troubleshooting, packet capture, and configuration of network and security devices
• Solid experience with: WAN, LAN, WLAN
• VPN and Remote Access solutions
• Firewalls (configuration and troubleshooting), Palo Alto preferred.
• Internet Proxies, load balancers, data centers (Cisco ACI preferred).
• Strong troubleshooting skills for complex network and security incidents (L2 support)
• Experience working with network monitoring and management tools
• Good understanding of network security concepts (DMZs, VLANs, partner connections, etc.)
• Familiarity with corporate security standards, Computer Systems Validation & Compliance rules, and internal IT processes
• Ability to lead cross‑functional technical task forces and coordinate with multiple stakeholders
• Strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and a problem‑solving attitude
• Professional proficiency in English (spoken and written); any additional language is a plus

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Provide second‑level technical support for Network and Security Services, including: WAN, LAN, WLAN, VLAN
• DMZs and partner connections
• Firewalls, Internet Proxies, Remote Access and VPN
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and packet capture analysis to resolve complex incidents
• Prepare and document incident reports, ensuring proper escalation and follow‑up until resolution
• Lead infrastructure cross‑functional task forces for troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and service improvement initiatives
• Conduct proactive monitoring of network and security infrastructure, using available tools to: Identify trends and recurring issues
• Detect and resolve events before they impact users
• Contribute to problem analysis and continuous improvement of network and security services
• Ensure that operational tickets and projects comply with: Corporate security standards
• Computer Systems Validation & Compliance rules
• Internal working instructions and standard processes
• Collaborate closely with other IT teams and stakeholders to ensure service reliability and performance
