Amaris Consulting is seeking a Network Security Engineer (NOC) near Barcelona to provide second-level technical support for Network and Security Services, including WAN, LAN, WLAN, and VPN. You will drive incident resolution, perform advanced troubleshooting, and lead cross-functional task forces across IT teams.

The role requires 3–4 years of hands-on IT experience in a large enterprise, strong security knowledge, and English proficiency.

• Lead infrastructure cross‑functional task forces for troubleshooting and root cause analysis
• Conduct proactive monitoring of network and security infrastructure to identify trends and recurring issues
• Ensure compliance with corporate security standards and internal processes
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure service reliability and performance

Job Description

• At least 3/4 years of experience in IT within a large enterprise environment
• 3–4 years of hands‑on experience in troubleshooting, packet capture, and configuration of network and security devices
• Solid experience with: WAN, LAN, WLAN
• VPN and Remote Access solutions
• Firewalls (configuration and troubleshooting), Palo Alto preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for complex network and security incidents (L2 support)
• Experience working with network monitoring and management tools
• Good understanding of network security concepts (DMZs, VLANs, partner connections, etc.)
• Familiarity with corporate security standards, Computer Systems Validation & Compliance rules, and internal IT processes
• Ability to lead cross‑functional technical task forces and coordinate with multiple stakeholders
• Strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and a problem‑solving attitude
• Professional proficiency in English (spoken and written); any additional language is a plus
• Once per week at the office near Barcelona.
