Amaris Consulting is seeking a Network Security Engineer (NOC) to join our international team near Barcelona, Spain. The role involves planning kickoff and project follow-ups, handling second-level IT security tasks, and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

Weekly office presence near Barcelona is required; remote work may be available depending on the project. You will support WAN/LAN/WLAN, VPN, firewalls (Palo Alto preferred), DMZs, and security infrastructure while contributing to

• At least 3/4 years of experience in IT within a large enterprise environment.
• 3–4 years of hands-on experience in troubleshooting, packet capture, and configuration of network and security devices.
• Solid experience with WAN, LAN, WLAN.
• VPN and Remote Access solutions.
• Firewalls (configuration and troubleshooting), Palo Alto preferred.
• Internet Proxies, load balancers, data centers (Cisco ACI preferred).
• Strong troubleshooting skills for complex network and security incidents (L2 support).
• Experience with network monitoring and management tools.
• Good understanding of network security concepts (DMZs, VLANs, partner connections, etc.).
• Familiarity with corporate security standards, Computer Systems Validation & Compliance rules, and internal IT processes.
• Ability to lead cross-functional technical task forces and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and a problem-solving attitude.
• Professional proficiency in English (spoken and written).

Responsabilidades

• Provide second-level technical support for Network and Security Services: WAN, LAN, WLAN, VLAN.
• DMZs and partner connections.
• Firewalls, Internet Proxies, Remote Access and VPN.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and packet capture analysis to resolve complex incidents.
• Prepare and document incident reports with proper escalation and follow-up.
• Lead infrastructure cross-functional task forces for troubleshooting and service improvement initiatives.
• Conduct proactive monitoring of network and security infrastructure to identify trends and recurring issues.
• Detect and resolve events before they impact users.
• Contribute to problem analysis and continuous improvement of network and security services.
• Ensure operational tickets and projects comply with corporate security standards and internal processes.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure service reliability and performance.
