Job summary

GMV Spain is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead a team developing Command and Control systems in the Defence sector. You will steer technical decisions, shape software architecture and guide the team through the full lifecycle, delivering complex projects for national and European clients.

You will work on artillery solutions, unmanned systems integration, and other advanced capabilities, combining hands-on coding with team coordination in a hybrid setting.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in OO software development with .NET and C#, applying design principles and best practices.
• Knowledge of distributed applications, APIs and web services.
• Experience with Git and development management tools.
• Ability to organize tasks, make technical decisions and solve problems independently.
• Good level of English for technical docs and international meetings, with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and coordinate a software team, organizing activities and fostering growth.
• Contribute to software architecture design, define solutions and develop components in .NET/C#.
• Plan and supervise development activities, identify risks and resolve tech challenges.
• Perform code reviews and promote best practices for quality and maintainability.
• Collaborate with systems engineering, integration and validation on requirements, effort estimates, testing and demos.
