Job summary

GMV is looking for an RF hardware engineer to join the Defence sector team in Madrid. You will develop the analog front-end for GNSS receivers, define requirements, design architectures, select COTS components, and prototype hardware with laboratory validation.

You will work on functional tests, integration, and documentation, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. A hybrid work model and relocation options are provided.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in RF hardware systems development.
• University degree in Systems Engineering, Electronic or Telecommunications Engineering or related field.
• Experience in systems engineering: requirements, design, architecture, interfaces.
• Experience with COTS components and hardware tests; verification activities.
• Hands-on lab equipment experience: oscilloscopes, generators, spectrum analyzers, multimeters.
• Ability to analyze results and propose solutions.
• Experience in documenting requirements, design, tests, and validation reports.

Responsibilities

• Define and analyze RF system requirements and architectures.
• Select and integrate COTS components for RF front-end.
• Design and prototype the analog processing chain for GNSS receivers.
• Plan and execute hardware functional tests verifying requirements.
• Perform hardware integration and validation and propose fixes.
• Characterize prototypes using lab equipment and analyze results.
• Prepare system documentation and interface definitions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on RF and electronic systems.
