Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is hiring a Monitoring Engineer (L3 Support) for its Madrid hybrid workplace. The role requires 5+ years in monitoring, observability, or SRE, with hands-on experience in Dynatrace, New Relic, AppDynamics and Prometheus/Grafana.

You will implement observability, analyze telemetry, and collaborate with DevOps and application teams to improve resilience. The position offers a permanent contract, competitive salary, flexible compensation, and WFH support.

• Monitor application performance, system health and service reliability in real time.
• Analyze telemetry data, logs and metrics to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and provide recommendations for long-term stability improvements.
• Collaborate with DevOps, SRE and application teams during incident resolution.
• Optimize observability dashboards, alerts and monitoring thresholds.
• Generate performance reports and actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Drive proactive monitoring improvements and predictive analysis initiatives.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• 5+ years of experience in Monitoring, Observability or Site Reliability-related roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with monitoring and observability platforms.
• Solid understanding of observability principles, including metrics, logs and traces.
• Experience with APM solutions and distributed tracing technologies.
• Knowledge of cloud-native environments, microservices and containerized applications.
• Scripting experience with Python or Bash.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Professional level of English.

WHERE AND WHEN?

• Workplace: Hybrid (Madrid)
• Office attendance: 3 days per week
• Work Schedule: 12x5 coverage (8:00-17:00 / 10:00-19:00)
