Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is seeking an Automation Engineer & IT Tools Management specialist in Madrid on a hybrid schedule. You will design, develop, and optimize automation for IT infrastructure, focusing on ServiceNow ITSM/CMDB and monitoring platforms.

You will work with APIs, scripting in PowerShell/Python/Ansible, and collaborate across IT teams to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in Automation Engineering, IT Operations Tools Management or similar roles.
• Strong experience with scripting and automation technologies such as PowerShell, Python and Ansible.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITSM and CMDB administration.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop and maintain automation solutions for IT infrastructure operations.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve service quality.
• Optimize and manage IT operations tools, monitoring platforms and ITSM solutions.
• Improve ServiceNow workflows, CMDB quality and operational reporting capabilities.
• Enhance monitoring and observability platforms, reducing alert noise and improving event management.
• Automate patching, compliance reporting and recurring operational activities.
• Develop dashboards, reports and KPI metrics for service reviews and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, monitoring, service management and customer teams to drive continuous improvement.

• 5+ years of experience in Automation Engineering, IT Operations Tools Management or similar roles.

• Knowledge of monitoring and event management platforms.
• Experience integrating systems through APIs and automation workflows.
• Understanding of ITIL processes and operational governance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Advanced English communication skills.

WHERE AND WHEN?

• Workplace: Hybrid (Madrid)
• Office attendance: 3 days per week
• Work Schedule: 12x5 coverage (8:00-17:00 / 10:00-19:00)
