Job summary

Dow Jones is hiring a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join the AI Engineering Team in Madrid. You will design, build, and maintain ML pipelines and infrastructure, supporting conventional and GenAI models.

Collaborate with data scientists to integrate LLMs and other models into scalable production systems. You will leverage strong software engineering skills to create robust, secure, and scalable ML solutions, working across data processing, model training, and deployment in a cloud

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related STEM field.
• 2-4 years of industrial experience in ML engineering, data science or data engineering.
• Strong Python programming skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to integrate ML models into AI/ML pipelines, covering pre-processing, fine-tuning, deployment.
• Implement optimized data storage and indexing systems for NLP.
• Develop tools and frameworks for model training, tuning, and evaluation.
• Partner with data scientists and engineers to integrate models into production, leveraging cloud infrastructure as needed.
• Monitor and improve model performance for accuracy and efficiency.
• Provide ongoing support and updates for ML models.
• Build and maintain data processing pipelines for large data volumes.
• Develop and maintain documentation for ML infrastructure and support processes.
• Stay updated on GenAI, NLP, ML, and IR technologies.
