Dow Jones & Company, Inc. seeks a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to design, build and operate ML pipelines and infrastructure in Barcelona. You will collaborate with data scientists to integrate models, including LLMs, and to productionize AI solutions with secure, scalable systems.

You will work closely with the Technology department to advance NLP, GenAI, and ML capabilities, leveraging cloud services and modern data architectures in a fast-paced, global newsroom tech environment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related STEM field.
• 2-4 years of industrial experience in ML engineering, data science or data engineering.
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or another high-level language used in ML.
• Experience with NLP frameworks (PyTorch, HuggingFace, LangChain, spaCy, NLTK, scikit-learn).

Aufgaben

• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to integrate ML models into AI/ML pipelines, including pre-processing, fine-tuning, and deployment.
• Implement optimized data storage and indexing systems for NLP using advanced databases.
• Develop tools and frameworks for model training, tuning, and evaluation, ensuring infrastructure integration.
• Partner with data scientists to deploy models into production using cloud infrastructure as needed.
• Monitor and improve model performance for accuracy and efficiency.
• Provide ongoing support, troubleshoot issues, and implement updates for ML models.
• Build and maintain data processing pipelines for large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
• Develop and maintain documentation for ML infrastructure and support processes.
• Stay updated on GenAI, NLP, ML and IR tech, leveraging cloud infrastructure for efficiency.
