sennder is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer in Barcelona to join a highly skilled ML team. The role blends data science and ML engineering to production-ready models, focusing on pricing, forecasting, and recommender systems for logistics.

You will work closely with Product Managers and end-users to deliver end-to-end ML solutions in an AI-native setup. The position is based in-office in Barcelona with collaboration across European offices.

Formación

• 5+ years of hands-on Data Science or ML Engineering experience.
• Strong foundation in statistics, hypothesis testing, and data exploration.
• Experience deploying models to production and writing modular code.
• Proficient in Python, SQL, Git; comfortable with cloud warehouses like Snowflake.
• Understanding of LLMs and AI tools in production settings.
• Ability to translate logistic problems into data-driven solutions.
• Excellent collaboration with Product Managers, end-users, and engineers.

Responsabilidades

• Advance pricing engine, bid estimation, and margin models.
• Build predictive models for carrier forecasting and capacity planning.
• Maintain and improve recommender systems for operations efficiency.
• Explore ML opportunities in logistics and translate to prototypes.
• Partner with Product Managers for continuous discovery and prototypes.
• Integrate AI/LLMs and evaluate trade-offs for internal tools.
• Collaborate with Data & AI Platform for production deployment.
