sennder, Europe’s leading digital freight forwarder, offers a Machine Learning Engineer role across Berlin, Barcelona or Amsterdam. This is an applied ML position focused on research-oriented topics and production-ready models for logistics solutions.

You will work on pricing and recommender systems, forecast carrier behavior, and collaborate with product teams to translate complex problems into data-driven ML hypotheses and rapid prototypes.

Formación

• 5+ years of hands-on Data Science or Machine Learning Engineering experience.
• Strong foundation in statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and data exploration.
• Production ML deployment experience and modular code development.
• Proficient in Python, SQL, and Git; cloud data warehouse experience (e.g., Snowflake).

Responsabilidades

• Pricing engine optimization: develop bid estimation and margin models to drive profitability.
• Carrier forecasting: build models to predict carrier behavior and capacity.
• Recommender systems: maintain and improve recommendation engines for operations teams.
• Industry innovation: explore ML methods for logistics challenges like routing and network optimization.
• Product discovery: collaborate with Product Managers to translate problems into ML hypotheses.
