Dow Jones Barcelona-Spain is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to own the full lifecycle of ML models, with a strong focus on LLMOps. You will work across data science, engineering and product teams to deliver scalable, production-ready solutions.

The role combines hands-on modeling, deployment, monitoring and CI/CD for ML, with opportunities to mentor others and help shape our ML infrastructure while collaborating with global teams.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or higher in a quantitative field; Master’s/PhD is a strong plus.
• 2–4 years of ML production experience with models deployed.
• Strong LLMOps experience: fine-tuning, prompts, lifecycle management.
• Cloud-based data warehouses; Snowflake preferred.
• Proficiency in Python/SQL and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Knowledge of Scikit-learn, Pandas, NumPy recommended.
• Experience building ML pipelines with MLflow or Airflow.
• Experience on AWS, GCP or Azure; Spark or Dask preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and manage LLM-based solutions, including semantic layer development, fine-tuning, model evaluation, deployment strategies, and the development of agent and multi-agent systems.
• Own end-to-end ML model development, optimization, and deployment.
• Ensure the scalability, efficiency, and reliability of ML pipelines.
• Design and implement robust model monitoring and retraining strategies.
• Optimize model inference and performance for production environments.
• Collaborate closely with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to integrate ML solutions.
• Improve experimentation frameworks, model versioning, and A/B testing strategies.
• Ensure best practices in MLOps, including automation, reproducibility, and CI/CD for ML.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and improve ML infrastructure.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior ML engineers.
