Synergy Construction in Madrid is seeking a Mechanical Tender Engineer to lead and manage technical and commercial tenders for EPC projects. You will review RFQs, project specs, and P&IDs to define the mechanical scope and prepare accurate cost estimates, MTOs, and execution plans.

The role requires deep knowledge of industrial mechanical systems, strong analytical skills, and fluency in Spanish and English.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in tendering, cost estimation, or proposal engineering within the EPC sector.
• Experience in projects involving cleanrooms, dry rooms, complex HVAC systems, or chemical processing plants is highly valued.
• Deep understanding of industrial mechanical systems (piping networks, industrial ventilation, thermal systems).
• Familiarity with Spanish industrial regulations and European engineering standards.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Eagerto learn and strong communication with suppliers.
• Excellent command of Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
• Proficient in using Excel, MS Project and AutoCAD.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage the preparation of technical and commercial proposals for industrial EPC tenders.
• Review client RFQs, project specifications, and P&IDs to define the mechanical scope of work.
• Review construction plans and prepare quantity surveys and cost estimates.
• Develop accurate material take-offs (MTOs) and cost estimates for mechanical equipment and installation works.
• Issue inquiries to suppliers, evaluate bids, and negotiate terms to optimize tender competitiveness.
• Identify technical risks and regulatory constraints during bidding.
• Pricing/forecasting the cost of components for a project.
• Prepare technical documentation such as schedules, histograms, and execution plans for bids.
• Collaborate with procurement, engineering, and project management teams to align tender with execution.
