Lightsource bp is seeking a Senior Manager for the EMEA Power Markets to drive regional strategy and lead origination of offtake agreements across Europe, including Southern Europe and the UK. The role focuses on securing PPAs, BESS offtakes, and innovative transactions with utilities, corporates, and data center developers.

The position requires deep market expertise, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to travel across Europe.

Formación

Comprehensive knowledge of European power markets is essential.
Multiyear experience negotiating long-term Power Purchase Agreements.
Proven track record originating and executing complex energy transactions.
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.

Responsabilidades

Identify and develop market opportunities with major energy users for RES and BESS offtake.
Collaborate with suppliers and market participants to design bankable revenue models for solar projects.
Negotiate heads of terms and PPA/tolling contracts with counterparties and legal teams.
Coordinate with structured finance, development and commercial managers to optimize funding for pipeline.
Stay informed on European energy policies and market developments to keep competitiveness.
