Lightsource bp seeks a Category Procurement Manager, BESS (EMEA) to drive procurement for Battery Energy Storage Systems and related projects across the EMEA region. You will implement global and regional strategies, maximize value from supply chains, and ensure on-budget, on-time delivery with quality standards.

• Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in additional regional languages is highly desirable.
• Willingness and ability to travel within the EMEA region (up to 20-30%).
• Familiarity with regional software tools and platforms equivalent to Microsoft Office for documentation and reporting

Responsabilidades

• Update and implement category strategy for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) including battery cells, PCS, EMS.
• Develop and execute contracting strategies tailored to EMEA BESS market.
• Generate regular reports on category performance and assist in budget development.
• Identify new suppliers for BESS and manage prequalification.
• Identify risks in supply chain and establish contingency plans.
• Lead RFP processes and supplier selection for best long-term value.
• Negotiate supply contracts for BESS systems and related equipment.
• Lead cross-functional teams to ensure aligned contract development and risk allocation.
• Provide procurement/status reports and expedite logistics considering import/export rules.
• Facilitate NDAs, LOIs, MOUs and Purchase Orders respecting regulatory requirements
