Charles Taylor is seeking a Loss Adjuster to manage Property & Casualty claims in Spain, based in Madrid. The role involves site visits, negotiations with insurers and clients, and coordinating experts to support accurate claims settlements.

We value an enthusiastic, flexible professional with 3+ years in loss adjusting or claims handling, fluent in English and Spanish, and able to develop business across London and European markets.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years’ loss adjusting / claims handling experience.
• Experience of Property & Casualty claims handling recommended but good experience in other lines may be considered.
• Enthusiastic, flexible and adaptable approach to work is essential.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish; if other European languages spoken, considered a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Manage a portfolio of Property & Casualty claims in Spain.
• Undertake site visits and meetings with Insurers, Reinsurers, Brokers, Claimants and other interested parties.
• Prepare reports commenting in detail on all aspects of the claim including legal and policy liability considerations, potential quantum and future actions.
• Instruct and coordinate surveyors, engineers, lawyers, forensic accountants and other experts as necessary.
• Communicate regularly with all interested parties, calculating and approving interim payments, preparing interim reports and other communications.
• Calculate and agree settlement of claims and preparing accurate final reports.
• Develop the Property & Casualty business for current clients and identify and bring in new business, as well as build new relationships and networks.
• Identify key business development and marketing opportunities in Property & Casualty area and manage these to successful conclusion.
• Develop the London and European markets and CTA’s brand profile globally.
