Job summary

Novartis España is seeking an Associate Director - IT Project Manager, Protective Security in Barcelona. You will own end-to-end delivery of complex security IT projects, aligning Physical Protective Security with enterprise IT architecture and governance frameworks.

You will lead global rollouts, manage external vendors and contracts, and ensure regulatory compliance across multi-country deployments while communicating at executive level in English.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in IT project/program management in enterprise or regulated environments.
• Experience with physical protective security systems and enterprise platforms.
• Ability to manage external vendors, contracts, and RFPs.
• Strong delivery leadership in global multi-country deployments with risk awareness.
• Fluent English with concise executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of Protective Security projects, on time, on scope, and on budget.
• Lead global and regional rollouts of security platforms (access control, CCTV, mobile credentials).
• Translate security needs into IT delivery while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Establish governance, manage risks, and maintain documentation rigor.
• Interface between Protective Security leadership, business, and IT delivery teams.
• Manage security vendors, contracting models, and project financials.
