Job summary

Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation seeks an Associate Director – Design & Construction Technology Project Manager in Barcelona. You will lead technology workstreams for capital projects, coordinating with REFS, Design & Construction, and Digital Workplace teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires 8–12+ years in IT project management across global programs, strong vendor and stakeholder management, and a solid understanding of construction tech.

Qualifications

• 8-12+ years of IT project management experience in global contexts.
• Experience supporting workplace, facilities, construction, or real estate programs.
• Experience managing technology delivery in construction or fit-out projects globally.
• Strong planning, risk management, and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead technology workstreams for new buildings, office fit-outs, laboratory upgrades, manufacturing support facilities, and major renovation programs; Own end-to-end delivery of IT scope throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate design reviews across Network & Connectivity, Wi-Fi, Digital Workplace, Meeting Room Technology, AV Solutions, Physical Security Systems, Building Technology Interfaces, Smart Building Solutions.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans; manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, and dependencies.
