Job summary

Novartis AG seeks an Associate Director to lead Design & Construction Technology Project Management in Barcelona. You will own end-to-end IT scope across project lifecycles, coordinating with REFS, Digital Workplace, Infrastructure, and external partners to ensure timely, on-budget delivery and compliant workplaces.

You’ll drive governance, manage risks, and oversee commissioning and handover, while collaborating with global teams to align technology with enterprise standards.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of IT project management experience in global, multi-country environments.
• Experience supporting workplace, facilities, construction, infrastructure, or real estate programs.
• Experience delivering technology in construction/fit-out projects globally.

Responsibilities

• Lead technology workstreams for REFS design, construction, renovation and related projects.
• Coordinate with architects, project managers, engineers, and partners to deliver IT on time and on budget.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans; manage scope, schedule, risks, and dependencies.
• Oversee vendor and partner management, procurement support, and change control.
• Ensure site readiness and end-to-end handover to operations and support teams.
