UST is seeking a Senior iOS Software Engineer to join our global technology team in Barcelona. You will build high-quality native iOS experiences at scale and partner with product and backend teams.

You will mentor junior engineers, shape architectural decisions, and promote best practices such as TDD and CI/CD, with a strong emphasis on English communication.

Formación

• Proven experience delivering high-quality native iOS applications at scale.
• Strong programming skills in Swift and deep knowledge of the iOS ecosystem.
• Experience mentoring or guiding junior engineers.
• Experience with modern iOS development tools like Git, Xcode, XCTest, XCUITest, Jenkins.
• English level at least C1.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to the development of fully native mobile applications, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.
• Collaborate with the Engineering Manager and team to evaluate technical decisions, risks, and architecture.
• Act as a technical evangelist, mentoring and coaching junior engineers.
• Develop well-structured, scalable, and well-tested code for iOS apps and backend orchestration services.
• Drive innovation within the team and contribute to technical initiatives.
• Work closely with senior engineers across teams to maintain a compelling mobile offering.
• Promote engineering best practices including quality, testing, and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development of fully native mobile applications, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience

Mandatory requirements:

• Proven experience delivering high-quality native iOS applications at scale
• Strong programming skills in Swift and deep knowledge of the iOS ecosystem
• Expertise with modern iOS development tools: Git, Xcode, XCTest, XCUITest, Jenkins
• Solid understanding of iOS platform capabilities in enterprise environments
• Experience mentoring or guiding junior engineers
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
• Passion for quality, applying practices such as Pair Programming, TDD, and BDD
• Interest in cloud technologies, especially AWS
• English C1

Nice to have:

• Hands-on experience with AWS/cloud environments
• Experience working in complex or regulated environments
• Strong problem-solving mindset focused on real-world challenges
• Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies, tools, and frameworks
